He received a B.S in Bioengineering in from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering in from the University of Utah. Since then, he served as a tenured and award-winning professor of bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago and as the Chief Scientific Officer of Hemotek Medical Inc, amassing over 20 years of biomedical engineering research and development experience. He has published multiple scientific journal articles and served on numerous grant review panels, including those for medical device development. He has raised ~$4.7 million dollars in non-dilutive funding for his own medical device start-up and tens of millions for clients. Dr. Rousche is responsible for working with clients on non-dilutive grant funding, concept development, and exploratory testing. 

Chuck Ventura

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Chuck Ventura is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ventura Solutions. He is a seasoned medical device and combination products leader with expertise in commercialization, R&D, project management, quality, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and entrepreneurship.

Chuck is also the co-founder and CEO of Hemotek Medical, where he led the company from a napkin sketch to a commercial deal, securing ~$4.7M in NIH SBIR funding along the way. At Hemotek, he heads regulatory and quality for new product development, ensuring market success.

Before launching Ventura Solutions, Chuck was the R&D Combination Product Systems Engineering Manager at Pfizer and held leadership roles at Hospira and Baxter Healthcare. He holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master’s in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Prior to founding Ventura Solutions, Chuck was the R&D Combination Product Systems Engineering Manager at Pfizer. He also has experience with many other medical device companies, such as Hospira and Baxter Healthcare. Chuck received his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, Chuck then went on to earn his master’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Outside of work, Chuck enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing music, and giving back to the community.
